Mal’akh, also known as Zachary Solomon is the son of Peter Solomon. He’s the male antagonist in The Lost Symbol. The book doesn’t tell us what age he was, but I’d say he was between 17 and 25. During a flashback, he was 18 years old. That’s the only information I can find on his age. Mal’akh is obsessed with transformations so it wasn't a surprise he had so many identities throughout the novel. Mal’akh was very determined to get what he wanted. He wanted the Masonic Pyramid.

Zachary’s father Peter Solomon was a Mason. He tried to convince Zachary to join the Masons when he turned 18. He explained what a Mason was, and what they do. He showed Zachary the Masonic Pyramid. He told him that his family has been guarding it for years. If Zachary …show more content…

One day, Zachary overheard his father talking to the warden. He told the warden he shouldn't release Zachary. Zachary was furious, and had another inmate killed so he could fake his death. Zachary was reported dead by police. He escaped under the name Andros Dareios.

Andros fled to Grease, where he started reading and doing steroids. He tried his best to become as strong as possible for “his final transformation”. He covered himself in tattoos to hide his scars. Andros lived years in paradise but then he started to feel empty. he was missing something. One day, Andros saw something on tv about the Masonic Pyramid, and he knew his father had it. He was determined to get the pyramid from his father.

On Christmas, Andros entered Peter’s home and demanded his father to give him the Masonic Pyramid. Peter didn't know that Andros was his son. He thought Zachary had died in prison like everyone else. Peter told Andros he had no idea what he was talking about. Andros got angry, and shot his grandmother when she walked in the living room to see what was going on. Andros ran out of the house and Peter chased after him. Andros ran into the forest, and was presumed dead when he fell into the freezing
