Judy Blume created what I would call, a collection of actual horror stories. She wanted all types of authors to submit a story and their experience with censorship. Judy was astonished at the amount of responses she had received. Sadly, only a few of those stories were put into the final draft of the book, “Places I never meant to be”. Some of the authors are, David Klass, Chris Lynch, Paul Zindel, and 9 others. One of the key points that is can be heard throughout the book is, when books get censored there is little to no thought about if the right choice was made or not.
