Summary & Thoughts Lily lost her mother when she murdered her on accident at the age of four with a gun. This event caused me to feel sympathetic to Lily. Ever since she died, Lily has tried to gain forgiveness from her mother wishing that she was here to help her with her female problems. Her father, T-Ray, is getting on her nerves and making her miserable. He shows more care for the dog, Snout than her and this made me feel softhearted.

Cameron and his mom have moved for the fourth time to start a unknown new life in an unknown town. Certain events make Cameron think, is his father or his mom's husband really abusive or not? Could it be that it's not his father's fault but his mother's. Cameron can't decide which facts are true and which are lies.
