Ronda Reynolds from childhood was determined to become the first Washingtonian state trooper. Although she had high dreams she barely had a chance to explore them. Ronda did not have good taste in men and for that reason she was divorced once and almost completed a second one. On the last night of her second marriage, she was found with gun shot in the head. The county police department declared it a suicide; however, her mother, Barb Thompson, never truly accepted that her daughter committed suicide.
Not being able to deal with being alone or feeling abandon and wanting to feel control Jeffrey sexually abused the young boy and murdered him. Simply in looking for a companion sixteen other young boys were murdered in this seek for happiness. Jeffrey stated “that all of their deaths were accidents, he tried to turn the boys into his own personal zombies” (Tithecott, 1997). How he went about doing this was he “gave the boy’s a sleeping regiment and once they fell asleep he drilled a hole in the side of their heads and injected acid into their brains” (Tithecott, 1997). His idea/ goal by doing this was again to have complete control in the relationship, but in doing so the plan failed and he killed all the boys.

The he progresses into how people have learned traits from the people that were there before them. He also talks about how the first american settlers were very skilled toolmakers. Peter Roop covered main topics but the main ones were the early people, how the people survived, and how they were excellent tool makers.
They all narrate and are the protagonist in their own story, and they all three by the end of the book go through a coming of age in character and maturity. Examples of this can be seen when Esperanza encounters sexual assault from a homeless person with her friend Rachel, when Melinda gets raped by Andy Evans, and when Scout comes to age about hatred and prejudice from the rape case against Tom Robinson. The three young girls are always facing trouble in their daily life that helps them develop. Esperanza for example comes in contact with sexual assault caused by a homeless person while with her friend Rachel. Melinda gets sexually assaulted by Andy Evans.

Don’t Give Up Lots of people in our world today deal with depression and the thoughts of suicide daily. The reality is that suicide is not the only answer or choice. Things can change but only if you don’t give up. In the book, “13 Reasons Why”, a teenage girl named Hannah, gave into her thoughts of suicide and took her own life due to bullying in her high school. Maybe, just maybe things would have been different for Hannah if she had only reached out to someone or gotten help, maybe then things would have been different for her.

Over the years the issue of suicide has been slowly increasing. It is now the third leading cause of death among young people. The effects of suicide are tragic and felt long after the individual has taken their own life. Some people who consider suicide, however, never make a “serious” attempt at it. For every attempted suicide, there is said to be more than one person whose thought of suicide has never translated into an actual attempt.
Suicide and Self-harm is one of the main leading causes in youth deaths in today 's society. The thought of ending his or her life is one of the thoughts developing in teenagers’ minds around the globe. There are many reasons to why a person will put their life at risk, such as stress, depression, loss of a loved one, or being bullied. Constant use of drugs or alcohol is also another leading cause to a person to have suicidal thoughts/actions. Suicide is not the way to go, there are plenty of other options to overcome suicidal thoughts or actions.
