Once upon a time, In the lands of Ancient Egypt, three triplet brothers were born. These brothers were the sons of the Pharaoh, and they were destined for the crown. However, because they were twins, this meant that only one of them could have the crown. The Pharaoh and his wife puzzled over this for years while the boys were growing up. Finally, the Pharaoh decided that whoever could track down and kill the Artful Robber would prove himself enough to have the crown. The Artful Robber had been stealing from the kingdom for years, as he knew where the Pharaoh’s treasure was located, as well as how to steal it without getting caught. He always wore a robe over his face so that he could not be identified, and he always robbed the treasure at night. Khonsu, the god of the moon, was full that night, so he would be able to illuminate the Artful Robber. He waited all night, but the Artful Robber did not come. He tried to spy the Artful Robber for the next seven nights, but to no avail. The second brother watched his sibling attempting to spy on the Artful Robber, and he took note that the robber would not come if the moon shone light on him. He came to the conclusion that the Artful Robber would strike next when it was a new moon, which was in a week. The second brother began to formulate a very wicked plan. He told his brother of his idea about the moon, knowing that his brother would not think twice about why he had just told him his plan. He was right, the brother took no suspicion at all, and he waited a week before setting out to look for the Artful Robber again.
