And companies make short-term by all means at expense of the employees. To employees, in order to live, they have to forget the past and adapt everything as fast as they can. And this value of ‘’achieving goal quickly’’ may pass to employees. Nowadays, though the company stated the clear career path, teenagers have lost the patience to wait for the success. They become impetuous once they can’t achieve the goal. Compared with last generation, teenagers have lost a very important merit called ‘’Craftsmanship’’ which means in order to finish task and they will try do it as well as to dedicate yourself to work chronically. The loss of ’Craftsmanship’’ is appeared on Hong Kong teenagers. In recent years, the waiting list applicants for Public Rental Housing is increasing substantially (Wai, 2014). This reflects that Hong Kong teenagers are no longer having good prospects of the future of their work. They don’t have the vision that working for a long period, such as 20 years, will earn a house. They may even can’t simply tell their long-term ambition. Thus, what the author want us to reflect is that how to keep this ‘’Craftsmanship’’ and how society can strike the balance between the development of institution and cultivate the long term interpersonal
