Personal Perception of Organized Crime Paper Candy Burtle CJA/325 Sherryl West November 2, 2015 INTRODUCTION Organized Crime in my opinion is just like Cancer it does not discriminate; there is not a specific race, age, and/or ethnic background that it is associated with it. Everyone has their own opinion on what organized crime consists of and who plays a role in it. Organized Crime is not limited to just one area of crime and has numerous characteristics that are associated with it. Throughout this paper we will discuss those characteristics, as well what my personal definition of organized crime is and how it is compared to the definition in our reading material. GENESIS OF MY PRECONCIEVED IDEAS I have a close personal dealing with organized crime through my family members who had been involved in organized crime.
