When you are watching the Super Bowl, you never see women unless they are in the crowd cheering for all of the men football players. This is a problem in the professional level and even the high school level. Many women are under looked and underestimated when it comes to physical sports. People think that it is different because women are more delicate than men. This may be true but women should still have a shot. This is a problem in the world because a lot of girls can get put down about not being able to play football. They can just give up because the world assumes that the boys are more athletic than girls. Some schools have even banned girls from trying out for the football team. In an interview with Caroline Pla from the Huffington Post, she says, “During the last two years, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has tried to shut out me and other girls from playing CYO co-ed football. They’ve created rules that prohibit girls from playing contact sports due to safety and ‘touching’ concerns. They claim to be acting in the best interests of young people.” This proves that schools are playing a major role in this, too. Girls can feel less than boys because of their disadvantage in sports. That is hard because many football team coaches take the strongest, biggest, and fastest boys and not girls. According to money.cnn.com, “There isn't a professional league, but there are three 11-on-11 full-contact women's amateur leagues in the U.S. And the women's game has expanded significantly in the last two decades.” There are only three professional women football teams in the USA which is not as many as the men have. There is also more football interest in the girls. This means that creating a women’s professional football league would get filled right
