The most memorable to my aspect was Gene Forrester hands down he was that type of kid to do something without feeling guilty. Gene wasn’t like his friends he was quite intelligent and he was resourceful but he liked to do daring stuff. He was the founder “The Super Suicide Society of the Summer Session” in the beginning of the book the first recruit was Phineas his closest friend. The relationship with Phineas will soon turn into a love hate relationship. Gene reminds me of myself I enjoy academics but I like to have fun sometimes. Gene didn’t like Phineas in some parts of the book this shows his side of jealousy and hatred for I sometimes have certain pet peeves of things that people do the relation between me and Gene are very similar. Gene was accused when he broke Phineas arm in the beginning because he had a bad relationship with him. I myself would have done the same thing this moment in the book became an important part to I myself the reader. Not only because of his action but the reasoning behind it. Gene wanted to be the best person overall he knew. Not some person who puts pride into his work he wanted it all. Gene coached Phineas to be better scholar in school and that he should take it seriously because if he wanted to go to the Olympics he would need some sort of education. While Gene trained him Phineas trained Gene to be a fit for any type of physical activity. I thought this was kind of neat on how they use their skills to help others this was a bit unusual for Gene to do something like this especially for Phineas when they both had downfalls in the
