The main camp title is “Personality Traits can have an Impact on how we use Social Media to stay connected. I came up with this title because it is the main points of all the articles in the camp. Chayko says in his article “Superconnected: The Internet, Digital Media & Techno-social Life” “We use the internet to exchange information and use it for social support, work, play, and to stay connected.” With the use of social media it has allowed us to stay connected with family and friends. In the article “Who Interacts on the Web? The Intersection of User’s Personalities and Social Media’s use” by Correa he says “Internet has changed the human experience.”(1) The internet has changed the human experience because it has allowed for us to get more information and to use social media to stay connected. Correa talks about how your personality can predict how you use social media and what you post on social media. The title relates to "The Networked Young Citizen: Social Media, Political Participation, and Civic Engagement" by Loader and "The Political Power of Social Media" by Shirkey they both talk about how political power of social media is used in today’s society in Shirky's article he says “The networked population is gaining more access to information and more opportunities to engage in public speech and enhanced ability to under take in collective action.”(3) Shirkey is talking about with social media being big and with more access to information it has allowed the people who use social media to be more engaged in politics. In Loader’s article he says “engagement of young people in practicers of a democratic government is important”(3) and how young people are able to get more involved in politics because there is more access on the
