In the course LGMT 691 Logistics and Supply Chain Management Capstone, for activity 7.2 BOK Matrix, the assignment was to research how a U.S. manufacturer can successfully manage supply chain risks by utilizing project management techniques. Although a supply chain consists of the variety of parties involved, a supply chain manager not only needs to know the core competencies in supply chain, but he/she needs strong skills in management, communications, and an understanding of project management backgrounds in order to manage supply chain risks.
