The Great Susan B. Anthony
A revolutionary is someone who made a great or big impact on society, someone who tried to change something for the better. Anthony’s family had the belief that both women and men were equal. Having that thought in her mind Anthony fought for women and soon became a big role in the abolitionist and women's voting rights movement. Susan B. Anthony was an extremely courageous woman who not just realized the inequity, but dedicated her life fighting against it.

Anthony went through many bumps on her road to end the suffrage. Despite the hardships that Anthony came across, she never gave up. Anthony dealt with a great amount of public abuse. “Fiercely independent and zealously moral, she endured years of public abuse and sarcasm from those who made light of her work or who saw in her a dangerous threat to the status quo. Yet she persevered, and while she did not live to see her dream of national women's suffrage come true, Anthony nevertheless managed to earn worldwide respect and admiration for her efforts on behalf of achieving equal rights for women” (“Susan B. Anthony”). In spite of all the abuse, Anthony never quit fighting for the rights of a woman. Anthony was an extremely courageous woman, she knew what she wanted and stood for what she believed in. “In 1852 when she attended a meeting of the Sons of Temperance in Albany. As she rose from her seat to join in the discussion, she was told that the women who were there had been invited to "listen and learn," not to speak… From then on, Anthony allied herself with the women's suffrage movement and worked tirelessly for women's rights” (“Susan B.
