Greet the customer with a friendly smile and ask them what you can help them with
Isolates - would just greet the customer and let the customer run the conversation.
They will provide only the information that the customer asked for and not add anything more. Bystanders – would just stand by with a friendly smile and watch others. They will not engage unless they were spoken too.
Participants – will greet the customer and help them with whatever they need help with and they will make sure the customer is satisfied.
Activists – will be available to help when others are not. They are willing to help out when needed and they will go above and beyond. They will offer more information than the customer may need to know this early in the visit.

Bystanders – will pass off their work to another co-worker if it’s not directly related to them. They will will do nothing to help.
Participants –are available for the customer, helping them along their visit. If they need further assistant the participant is there for the long haul.
Activists – are very excited to help and share all the knowledge they know about the situation even if it is not necessary at the time.
Diehards – they will go to the extreme to make sure the customer is having a good visit. They will assist everyone involved to make the experience for the customer memorable yet satisfying with no doubt.
Thank the customer for coming in and tell them that you look forward to seeing them again very soon
Isolates – Do exactly that, tell them thank you and good bye.
Bystanders – Stand back and allow the other co-workers to send the customer away.
They may have a smile on their face but they are not one to engage and help.
Participants – thanks the customer and maybe even offer a phone number if the customer would like more help. Make themselves available and ready to help
