This research and analysis report is based on a marketing strategy of Malaysia Airlines. Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) formerly known as Malaysia Airlines System Berhad (MAS) is a major airline industry in Malaysia. How effective and efficient marketing strategy used by MAB. We choose MAB because it has strong brand name which is recognized globally and has extensive operation across Southeast Asia, North and South Asia, Middle East and Europe. We started working on the project by setting objective of it and by identifying which techniques to be used. We used online searching such as planespotter and malaysia airlines websites itself to collect all relevant data that can be used in our assignment. We had to assure reliability of the source information throughout the info collected and details of sources were included by us for the referencing purpose.
We use secondary sources that consist of description and explanation that are created after historical event has already taken place. For example:
1. Internet: provided what knowledge and information about the company and much about the environment surrounding such as government policy and economy factor.
2. Newspaper: they will used to get the related information about the airlines industry and this competitors.
