COMPANY PROFILE The brand “Shakthiman super pvc pipe” was introduced to the market in 1986 by CHLOROPLAST, the first venture of the Nediyara group. The company was established in the place named Akanad near to Eranakulam district of Kerala. This was a pioneering attempt in southern India in the production of pvc pipes as a durable and cost effective alternative to conventional galvanized iron pipes for water conveyance. Mr. N Suresh is the managing partner and CE of the firm. He is a mechanical engineer and his technical background has helped the unit to establish a strong market network in Kerala. Shakthiman Super earned the status of a quality product in Kerala market during the nineties. The steady growth on demand for the brand necessitated a capacity increases. At the initial stage, CHLOROPLAST has installed capacity to produce 180 Mt of PVC pipes per annum. Then it is have an amazing change in production that means doubled the production from 180 Mt to 360 Mt within 6 months. With the help of technological advancement the unit decided to modernize the extrusion process in 1995 and the capacity increased to 500 TPA. The unit again went in for another expansion process in 2001 & 2004 with the installation of KTS 250 extruder having 2500 kg/hour production capacity of plant reached 4000 TPA with the expansion process.
