Everyone in life has their own unique hobbies they enjoy, and life is so big at times that it’s hard to put it all into words, so we use symbols to represent the major things that describe who we are. In Edgar Allen Poe’s story called “The Masque of the Red Death”, we see symbols representing ideas and concepts like the ‘’Red Death’’ symbolizing the plague. Everyone has their own symbols, and they can represent many characteristics of their lives, and I have my own symbols that sum me up very well in my opinion. The symbol on the forehead of my mask is a football which represents the sport I love the most and have been playing for as long as I can remember. The sport of football is apart of my life and I have been playing it with my school friends forever. The sport is also a tremendous part of my family, because we watch games together all the time and it brings us together. Many things involved in my life are outside involving nature. I enjoy hiking because it is a fun thing to do, and I love seeing different parts of nature including the views at the very end. Seeing all the animals is also a good thing to see since I also enjoy hunting. I enjoy being with other living things besides just humans, because it makes me feel different in a good way. Being outside playing sports, hiking, running and living is who I am, and brings me together with my family, friends and other animals.
