Tablet VI: A Comparative Analysis

In the beginning of Tablet VI, I am reminded of Christianity given that this poem explains the Babylonian belief of how humankind was created, likewise to the Biblical explanation of the creation of man. Of course, there are differences between the Babylonian and Hebrew beliefs along with similarities.
For example, the Babylonian belief states humankind was created from the blood of Qingu, the leader of the Anunna-gods who was sacrificed. As a result of this sacrifice, Ea, a god, caused bones to be, and used Qingu’s blood to make a human being which he named ‘Man’. On the other hand, the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible states in Genesis, “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils
