Celebrity promotions are always successful
Apple Music promotes its app by using famous celebrities in its ads. The celebrity promotes the music by being/performing in the ad. The commercial "Taylor Swift vs. Treadmill" is a good example of what I am talking about. Having a well-known, very liked celebrity like Taylor Swift bring endorsement to Apple Music, the commercial and the company will see a rise in purchases of subscriptions. Apple Music's "Taylor Swift vs. The Treadmill" commercial set a good example for my statement. Ethos is the credibility appeal therefore Drake's music appearance was also a way to make the ethos appeal stronger. As Taylor Swift is choosing a playlist to listen to while she is running on a treadmill she decides to run to a Drake song. Drake is another well-known artist and his associating with the brand and letting the commercial include his music also indicates that he supports Apple Music. Drake even did a commercial with apple music listening to Taylor Swift's music and getting an adrenaline rush. She then decided to play a gym flow playlist because she is at the gym on a treadmill. She begins to play music and it's by Drake. The song is called Jumpman and then Taylor begins to play the song and stretch a bit. After her quick stretch, she begins to run and sing her chest out to the music. She seems to know all the lyrics to the song that she begins to put her hands in the air. She continues to throw her hands in the air and sing the song. She does it so intensely and gets distracted therefore she falls off the treadmill. It looks like a bad fall because she is dragged off the treadmill. Once she is on the ground she puts her upper body up and then continues to sing to the song like nothing happened. I am describing what I, as a viewer, witnessed when watching this ad. I was instantly intrigued, confused, and in shock at what I had just seen. I could not wrap my head around how Taylor just fell on her face. I see
