What are the possible consequences of revealing you’ve won $350 million dollars to the wrong person? Erik White directed a comedic film, Lottery Ticket, in which the main character, Kevin, wins a $350 million lottery ticket, and has to wait a long holiday weekend to reveal his winning. Kevin lives with his well-known grandmother and works a part-time job at Foot Locker. Lottery Ticket has a series of different lessons, but only one left a message to Kevin and its viewers. White enforces his message through using elements such as a nemesis, plot, symbol and suspense. White kept the audience’s attention through suspense throughout the movie. White uses Sweet T to put more pressure on Kevin about losing his lottery ticket. White has Kevin to realize how serious some people are about their money. Sweet T told Kevin if anybody played with his money, he would chop their legs off at the knee cap, smash them up into hamburger meat, and feed the legs to his dogs while the person watched. As a result, Kevin fears and regrets that he borrowed money from Sweet T.
