Impending Doom In the book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury he has introduced technology in The story that is very similar to today's current technology, Such as Mildred’s Seashell earpiece, the parlor walls, and the Mechanical Hound. This is quite impressive since the story was written in the 1950’s and it uses very modern day technology showing how advanced the book is. In the Story Fahrenheit 451 Mildrid is constantly mentioned Wearing These Seashell Earpiece Radios Which Play music, Broadcasts, Pretty much anything with sound. Which I thought was Odd because in the time period the book was written there wasn't anything like that yet invented. But now We have an insane amount of technology options like that. They are Both a Tv that can be considered a streaming service just the parlor walls are an interactive live one. In Fahrenheit Mildird always called the people on the parlor walls her Family. Which you can now on almost all tvs set it up to where you can live chat or video call your family or friends. You are able to order parlor walls and install them to your needs just like Tv’s. You are able to Adjust the volume and turn them on and off on both. And as you read the story you learned that The People on The Parlor Walls weren't Mildreds actual Family. They were just advertised as that. You can see false advertisements on any TV or streaming platform you are on. And both the Parlor walls and Tv’s are extremely addictive with Mildrid constantly watching them and kids in our generation being their first resort to fun. Though The streaming services may vary between these 3 Technologies They Are still quite similar with the proof I have
