(BS-2) Technology can take away many crucial human traits that you need to function. The three woman turned slowly and looked with unconcealed irritation and then dislike at Montag"(Bradbury 90). Obviously these women were not happy with Montag. (SIP-B) In my opinion the biggest trait of humanity that the overuse of technology takes away is your ability to think. (STEWE-1) Clarisse was a “thinker” from day 1, “You laugh when I haven't been funny and you answer right off. You never stop to think what I've asked you”(Bradbury 6). Clearly, Montag wasn't always considered “human” but fit in with the rest of the society. (STEWE-2) Montag eventually couldn't take the “society” anymore, “Go home and think of your first husband divorced and your second husband killed in a jet and your third husband blowing his brains out, go home and think of the dozen abortions you've had, go home and think of that and your damn Caesarean sections, too, and your children who hate your guts! Go home and think how it all happened and what you ever did to stop it”(Bradbury 98). Clearly, Montag had now developed human traits and could think for himself, but he couldn't stand to see how selfish and immature the rest of the society was.
