Modern cellular advances have made for a completely connected world. Today, new cell phones, laptops, and tablets are displayed and praised every week. Currently, microchips are being made to allow you to perform many actions. Glasses, which present a controllable screen before your very eyes, are being perfected and prepared to be sold. Sadly, many people consider these new technological advances as wonderful, fun new inventions; however, cell phone companies, and ultimately the government, can tap into your day whenever they please. One would belong to the government in this way, and not God. Amazingly and yet tempting, one may access the internet whenever he pleases, which could cause a huge spiritual battle for many young individuals concerning pornography and other sins. Time can be wasted on cell phones, face-to-face relationships can diminish, and temptation can be present more than ever. Observably, Christians need to be sure that they are honoring God in everything they do, especially technology. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Christians need to be sure that they are taking the healthy route through technology.
