Look up. I have so many friends yet I'm lonely. I speak to them everyday but none of them really know me. We know only a few of them. Others, we know others through our screens. We spend hours looking at our screen. But, have we ever looked up, sat back and realised that the media we go social is nothing but when we open our computers and shut our doors. All this technology we have is advanced and helpful in every way but it's just an illusion. We are so addicted to it that we forget what's actually happening in the real world. How many here think that life was really amazing before technology took over? Right now, here in the class when we're asked not to use our phones, while the class is going on, we can't resist from touching our phones whether it is to read a message or it's just to look at the screen and lock it back. All we could see is 'RIP missile man' , ' you'll be missed, sir' etc. nothing else. We posted all this only to show sympathy. Did we even bother to keep 2 mins silence for the deceased? no. Everyone was busy on social media! It's like " I wanna show my love, I wanna show everyone that I knew him so well, I will post! " Aren't all of us happy that our childhood wasn't dominated by these devices? When we were kids, we never went home until the lampposts turn on. These days, childhood is only playing games on the fone, making the highest score possible on temple run. Childhood is something when we have wounds on our knees and elbows, not dark circles below the eyes. The parks are so quiet, the swings no more make the screeching noises, no-one hurts their butts anymore by sliding on the parkslides, there's no skipping, no hopscotch, no lagori,
