Teen Mom shined a bright spotlight directly at this shrouded darkness, revealing to millions of television viewers the unknown realities of the struggles of the young moms all around us. Many have been quick to criticize the show for glamorizing teen pregnancy as these young moms have become celebrities in their own right often making the covers of tabloids and making appearances on talk shows.
