Came into existence with Cupid and Tartaros from Chaos, the void. Terra spawned the Titans, the Gigantes, and the sea-gods from her unions with Pontus, Tartaros, and Uranus.

Although Terra is an extremely important figure in Roman and Greek mythology, she seems to be more of a background character in the other gods’ stories. She created hundreds of babies, many from parthenogenesis, and was supposedly the second to come about in the beginning. She is Earth itself, full of life.
One main myth about her is how she rebelled against Uranus. He had imprisoned their children in her womb, and took her revenge by asking Saturn to take a flint
