Recently in History class, we’ve been discussing the basic principles of Taoism, as shown in The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff. One of the most important lessons in this book is to value the time you have; that time can’t be saved, but you can choose to spend it wisely or foolishly. This concept is embodied perfectly by Evelyn Elena Herrera, better known as Evelyn Hugo. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a book written by Taylor Jenkins Reid, about an aging fictional Hollywood star who decides to share the entirety of her scandalous life with an unknown reporter.
