Cipher in the Snow” is a short story in which Jean Mizer, the author, displays a heartbreaking story about the death of a lonely withdrawn teenager. Cliff Evans, Jean Mizer’s main character experiences being ridiculed by classmates, invisible to teachers, and mistreated at home. Then, on the way to school Cliff asks to get off the bus and collapses in the snow and dies. The Principal asks to the school’s math teacher to tell his parents and write the obituary, but he doesn’t even remember him even though he was listed as Cliff’s favorite teacher. Which makes the math teacher wonder if he didn’t die from a broken heart and that everyone was responsible in some way.

In The Snow Globe by Sheila Roberts, Kiely who is the main character believes in a snow globe and how it will help her get a boyfriend and her life back to normal. Kiely believes that the snow globe will bring love to her because of the story behind it. Why would she believe that a snow globe could do that? Kiely believes in weird things like that because she is very hopeful.

In this essay, Sedaris writes about his growing up with an alcoholic mother and her mistreatment of her children with this addiction. Sedaris’ writing proves this statement by sharing about one particular day when school was canceled due to a snowstorm. Sedaris is a well-known writer, playwright and radio commentator whose work often has an autobiographical focus (Faigley 89).

The State in Snowpiercer relies upon a deeply entrenched ruling ideology that can be summed up by Minister Mason 's 7-Minute speech beginning with "This is not a shoe."
In the book, Let it Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle, one of the main characters, Jubilee, keeps remembering the first Smorgasbord her boyfriend invited her to. This foreshadows an unfortunate event that is to come in the near future. Jubilee constantly remembers this event, because it makes her feel joyful, but it foreshadows what is to come in the near future. She has never missed any of Noah’s, her boyfriend, family Smorgasbords, little does she know this Christmas will be the first time she misses one.
The book I choice to read was, “Brian’s Winter”, by Gary Paulsen. This book is about Brian after the private plane he was flying in crashes in to the rugged forests of Canada. Brian went through many struggles while trying the best he could to survive in the harsh environment. Some of the biggest events in this story include when he is attacked by a bear, during the major storms and some of his questionable encounters with the wolves. If I were telling a friend about the entire story in two minutes I would say, Brian’s parents were divorced leading him to visit his father for the first time in a long time.

The Huntsman Winter’s War movie, in the beginning, it was prequel and finally was sequel of Snow White and the Huntsman. In reviewer’s perspective, the plot passed quite slowly and boring. It takes longer to reach the highlight scene. The movie has to be chased long before the relatives are broken, jump over to create a new kingdom. The Queen came up to build up the huntsman, finally love makes a lost hunter.
The day was just after my brother’s birthday and we had just finished celebrating his birthday. My brother was more surprised, however, by the amount of snow that covered the yards outside. We both awoke to a sight much more impressive than that of December, a white landscape obscuring everything laying on the ground, including the cars. My brother and I changed faster than firemen getting ready for a rescue, as we ran outside to see the fascinating snow that surrounded our neighborhood.
