The Ashurst-Sumners Act of 1935 banished the offer of jail products in interstate trade, keeping states from offering merchandise delivered from detainee work to clients in different states. The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) is a professional interest group established with the main objective of protecting the accounting profession. Although it was formed on the twenty-second of May in 1911 by Texas public accountants Marion Douglas and William Peter, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants did not receive recognition by state certification until March 1915 when the Public Accountancy Act was signed by Governor James E. The Texas Public Accountancy Act of 1915 established the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, which issues and revokes accounting certificates, collects annual fees, and makes it a misdemeanor for anyone to practice accounting within the state of Texas without a certificate.

Fulbright Act of 1946. President Truman signed the bill into law on August 1, 1946. Among the provisions, a Board of Foreign Scholarships was established to oversee the program. A natural monopoly is defined as a single firm that offers a product or service (Study.com, 2015). This firm has very high fixed costs as a barrier to entry and derives most the benefits of economies of scale available to the whole industry (Study.com, 2015). Before 1984, long-distance phone service was only supplied by AT&T in the United States (FRASER, 2005). AT&T was holding the position as the only firm to supply long-distance phone services created the label of this service being a natural monopoly. The government has anti-trust laws in place to ensure these firms defined as natural monopolies cannot charge whatever they desire for the single point product or service as the public depends on these services (Study.com, 2015).
