The American Dream is a equality of people can have high goals and do whatever job they want. That people work hard to achieve through school or experience or training to accomplish. But can everyone achieve their goals? Many people put hard work into getting the American dream.And there desire and putting however they feel ionto fuel to achieve that goal. Some succeed and others don't.Curly’s wife, Lennie, and Crook are characters from John Steinbeck’s novella Of Mice and Men whose struggles with uncontrollable strength, being isolated, and not treated like the rest lead to broken dreams that negatively impacted their lives.

To begin, Lennie’s experience with uncontrollable strength ruined his dreams of Tending the rabbits with his future farm with George For instance Steinback says, ”“Don’t you go yellin’,” he said, and he shook her; and her body flopped like a fish ”( Steinbeck 92). Lennie is shocked by what is going on. He doesn'tknow what to do. Ends up killing her by his uncontrollable strength which ends up ruining his dream of tending the rabbits. Curly wife is in a way very despreate for attention. That she is even willing to talk to Lennie and try and understand his his madness of talking. To show how she is at least approved by someone she goes to depreate measures.Steinback states, “But my ol’ lady wouldnt let me.She says i was only fifteen. But the guy said I coulda.If I’d went, I wouldnt be livin like this, you bet.”(Steinbeck 88). It shows how she didnt get the approval she wanted.
