The story was about the American Dream and doing anything to be part of it. There was definitely a message to take from the whole thing. The message would be to not cheat your way into things and to not lie to gain some sort of social status or popularity. The main character is Gatsby and everything that happens is revolved around him. He was also known as the ¨Great Gatsby¨ because of the way he can turn his dream into a reality. In the past he was in a relationship with a girl name Daisy but had to end it due to him leaving for military service.
