Analysis: Percy Jackson And The Olympians

Three years ago I started reading Percy Jackson & the Olympians by Rick Riordan. This book series are the adventures of a 12 year old demigod saving the human world against mythological creatures with his friends. He discovers his terrible fate when he is a suspect from taking the master bolt of Zeus and since he’s a child of Poseidon he has to defeat the monsters from the underworld that come from tartarus. A demigod is when a god and a human have a kid (half-human, half-god). Demigods have characteristics of dyslexia and ADHD. This story helped me understand that there is always more than one way of seeing and making sense of the world. As well that it has sparked my interest in the three most known Gods which are: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. …show more content…

How the religion Hellenistic influences the world today? and how New generations are involved in continuing their believe in the greek mythology culture? During my searching im hoping to find the story of how the greek mythology started, the background-basic story of most of the titans, giants and gods. Also how greek mythology evolved as a religion. Some people consider the greek mythology to be myths which means not true, but they do believe that their fate came from the god and goddesses.
