The Apostle Paul is one of the most important men in the Bible. Not only is his testimony one of the most amazing displays of the redeeming power of God but he also is responsible for writing two thirds of the New Testament. Before Paul became and apostle he was known for his malicious treatment of those that followed Jesus. After his experience on the road to Damascus he was forever changed and then was given the new name Paul. The character of Paul is interesting because no matter what he did he never did it halfway. If he was against Jesus he was one hundred percent against him, but when he was redeemed and became for Jesus, well the fruit of his commitment is evident all throughout the scriptures.
