Argument 1: Audience- Advertisement makers Anti-smoking advertisement have almost no effect on the people who smoke. Nowadays antismoking ads are everywhere even on the cigarette packets to enlighten us about the health problems caused by it, but does that have any effect on the ones who smoke? A psychological research suggests that these ads are not just ineffective but also makes the process of giving up harder. In fact, this anti-smoking ads increases the urge to smoke. For instance, these antismoking ads reminds a person of the health-related problems and it triggers a panic response deep within the brain. And the only way a smoker counteracts the feeling of anxiety and stress is by SMOKING. According to the office for national statics the number of adult smokers has increased from 9.5 million in 2001 to nearly 9.9 million in 2006. It also reflected that high rate of smoking among migrants from eastern Europe. Although it was stated that around 1.4 million people had quit smoking but it was because the department of health measures had also included quitters as the ones who had stopped smoking for just four weeks. The influence of peers and parents was a strong risk factor in cause of delinquency.

Therefore, parents are the ones who have a major influence on their child and this is the reason that bad parenting leads to child committing crimes. Parents should know their responsibilities and create a positive environment around their child.
