My project is going to help my local American Legion Post in creating an area in where the legion members (veterans) can talk and socialize. This project is going to consist of installing a barbecue system and beautifying the area around the barbecue system. Also, it is imperative that the area around the barbecue looks nice aswell. Some of the tasks for beautification include : Painting a concrete wall found in the back of the eating area.

The time at Valley Forge for Soldiers was dreadful and I could say the same for myself. It 's the winter of 1777 two year in the Revolution and things are not look good for General George Washington at Valley Forge. People are dying left and right of sickness like smallpox the cold is getting to some of us. Some soldiers are leaving to go home to their family even going as far to run away from their duties. One of the main extracurricular activity that is very helpful to me is NJROTC. It teaches cadets about the real world and the military world. The Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC), is put in place to teach you more about the military, and also to teach students to become great leaders. Everyone in this program learn to be well disciplined. Without discipline there would be total chaos.

You can say that my journey with the Military started the day I was born. I was born on April 29, 1998 at the 7th Medical Group on Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. With the love and care I received from the neonatal nurses that were stationed on Dyess Air Force Base I quickly lost the title of ‘premie’. In 1999 my mother and father were both assigned to Landstuhl Army Base in Germany, I appreciated the military letting them be together.
