We should emphasize on agriculture for three reasons. One reason is that agriculture effected the growth of the empire through the population and land growth.

The Aztec Empire 's agriculture was very developed and religion played a huge role in it. The Aztec people worshiped a God of corn and put a lot of thought into how to neatly organize their fields. Some farmers used chinampas to grow their crops while others used the terracing method. Farmers who used the chinampas method built boxes for crops in shallow lake waters and built the area inside the box up with mud and sediment to make it above the water level, then watered their plants using the lake water surrounding the box. However, the farmers who used the terrance method built walls of stone on the hillsides and made the land level.
Religion in the Aztec Empire: The Aztecs had a polytheistic religion with the worship of a pantheon of all powerful gods. The religion they followed permeated into every aspect of their lives. Everyone from the lowest peasants and commoners to the most royal of emperors observed this religion very seriously. Priests presided over rituals and sacrifices, and were supposed to be celibate and refrain from alcohol. It had a large and ever increasing pantheon.
The Aztecs held multiple ceremonies and festivals to honor their gods. Their most important gods were Tlaloc, the rain god, Quetzalcoatl, the serpent god, and Huitzilopochtli the god of sun and war. Olmec: The Olmec culture was present in what is known today as Veracruz and Tabasco. The plaza in La Venta contains four giant basalt heads six to ten feet high. Research suggest that the basalt sculptures appear to be of rulers and not gods. The Olmecs also did cave paintings, created ceramic figurines, and carved jade sculptures. Their jade sculptures often portrayed a mix of human and animal features.
The fall of the Aztec Empire was due to the determination of the Spaniards. The Spaniards were destructive. They did not respect the Natives’ religions at all. They almost destroyed all of the Natives’ culture, and now we know very little about Natives. The Spaniards’ greed and obsession with power, this was their main motivation to conquer the Aztec Empire.
The Mayan, Aztec, Incan civilizations were significantly advanced civilizations. They have developed new systems and created new inventions. The Mayan, Aztec, and Incan civilizations have made many accomplishments. Their major accomplishments included architecture, astronomy, technology, and etc. These civilizations have made many accomplishments that influence our society today.
