The Beach Have you ever seen an upset person at the beach? My guess is rarely, if at all. Even if you have, I doubt the surrounding environment was the cause of that person’s negative mood. For me, the sand, sun, waves crashing—all of it has an instant calming effect. What I love the most about the beach is the fact that there are so many of them, all so different yet similar at the same time. Being a Florida girl myself, I am most familiar with the Sunshine State’s coasts. I have lived on both the west coast and the east coast of this state; however, I cannot bring myself to choose a favorite side.
