Topic: The topic of this speech is to remind people to always make sure to take the needed precautionary steps to address possible forms of cancer early and efficiently. Being proactive towards your health is more important than trying to figure out a strategy in the long run.

Purpose: The purpose of this speech is to remind people that their health is the most important aspect of life and to take measures at the beginning of their lives to prevent future problems that may arise.

Skin cancer is one of the most prominent cancers there are, and by exposing yourself to damaging ultraviolet rays without proper protection. You’re asking for malignant areas on your body. Next, make sure to be up to date on your immunizations and avoid risky behaviors that could potentially bring you directly to encountering blood born pathogens such as HIV or hepatitis B or C. Lastly, receive medical care on at least an annual basis. If doctors are tracking their concerns over a period of time, they are more likely to be able to discover whether certain concerns are minuscule or extremely important.
Transition Sentence: Even though the Mayo Clinic portrays these steps to be common steps that most people take, if it’s extremely important to realize that taking small steps like these can put many years back on your life.
