The book is really well written and the way the author displayed the emotions and conflicts the characters were going through was very good. I personally admired how strong Karana was and how she kept going when things got tough and how she is smart and brave enough to stay alive. The lessons the book is trying to teach is to never trust strangers, always keep going and never to give up.
