The participants that were used for the “Bobo Doll Study” were 36 girls and 36 boys whom of which were students at the Stanford University Nursery School. The ages of the participants ranged between 3 and 6 years old, but the average participant’s age was 4 years 4 months. With a total of eight experimental groups, 24 participants were assigned to a control group that obtained zero treatment. The rest of the children who were involved in the experiment were then divided up into two separate groups of 24 participants per group. One of the two experimental groups that were divided up were exposed to aggressive models, while the other group were involved with a non-aggressive model. The groups were divided again by gender.
