If one were to enter a room and see a variety of people, a brain, a beauty, a jock, a rebel, and a recluse one would wonder, “What could all of these people possibly have in common?” The answer? In the beginning of the movie, all the main characters are seen arriving at the high school in their own fashions, alluding to the social hierarchy displayed throughout the film. Halfway through the movie, the teens decide to smoke weed and get high via the marijuana provided by Bender, each in a particular order that fits their personalities. Towards the end of the film, the characters are devastated confessing their reasons for getting into detention, acting as the emotional climax of the movie.
