During the year 1993, Maurice Turner, a police officer in Cobb County, Georgia, listed Julia Lynn Womack as the inheritor on his life insurance policies and retirement account. The two got married three months later and not even six months later, she started an affair with Randy Thompson. Supposdly she led him to believe that she was divorced. In March of 1995, Mr. Turner began to experience flu-like symptoms and as a result he made his way to the emergency room where he would be treated then sent home.
Steven Avery in 1985, 41 year old Steven Avery was accused of sexual assault and served 18 years in prison for a crime he didn’t do and later was convicted of murder but whether he committed the murder is a mystery. Steven Avery is currently serving life in prison for killing photographer Teresa Halbach. He was convicted in 2007 and sentenced to life in prison without parole. There have been many clues leading to Steven Avery committing this murder although many people believe he is still innocent and someone set him up. In this paper I will show how the police department made a mistake and where he is today.
Dr. Keith requested a mental health evaluation on a Mr. Alewine. He is a 28 year old male who presented to the ED via EMS for chest pains, suicidal ideation, and symptoms of psychosis. Mr. Alewine reported arriving in Siler City from Tennessee after a 16 hour bus trip. He reports after his 16 hour trip, he went to a mechanic shop to call 911 for chest pain and suicidal ideation without a plan after stressing about having a place to stake for a few days. Per documentation Mr. Alewine was asked about current chest pain on a scale of 1 to 10, he reports a 1.
In January 2015 Conner Hanson was accused of shooting and killing 18 year old Anthony Gabriel. After the car chase led to the shooting and killing of Gabriel, Hanson is be on trial in adult court. Hason’s attorney told jurors that Gabriel was the aggressor and Hanson was just defending himself. Along with Gabriel in the vehicular was his 17 year old girlfriend and Hanson’s 6 month old baby girl. Prosecutor Randy Sample then explained to the jury that Hanson and a co-defendant placed bandanas on their faces before Gabriel was shot and killed.
Charged with the rape and murder of Gail Miller, a nursing assistant, David Milgaard was sentenced to life imprisonment on May 30, 1969 – he was only sixteen. Milgaard with his friends Ron Wilson and Nichol John were driving to Vancouver to Albert Cadrain’s house – another one of Milgaard’s friends. Police built a strong case against Milgaard for the murder of Gail’s murder based on several witnesses. Milgaard was convicted for murder due to the evidence and given statements by his friends. Milgaard’s friends first gave their statements and became Milgaard’s alibis but after multiple interrogations changed their statements and one of his friends went as far as saying they even saw Milgaard stab a woman.

Darryl Howard was convicted of arson and murder in 1995. Firefighters arrived at the Few Gardens public housing complex in Durham, North Carolina to extinguish a blaze in an apartment and found the nude bodies of 29-year-old Doris Washington and her 13-year-old daughter Nishonda. Both females had been sexually assaulted. After the murders the police had found that Darryl Howard, 29-years-old, who lived in the same housing complex, was a friend of Nishonda and seen in the vicinity of her housing complex. It was discovered that Nishonda would run away frequently due to her mothers drug dealing.
On December 15, 2016, local police found a gang member of the royals, identified as 16-year-old Andy Larsen, lying on the sidewalk near Woodbine and Dixon Road unconscious. After further investigation, police found no vitals and Larsen was declared dead at the scene. No suspects have been identified but, police are positive that the guilty is a member of the opposing gang, the Guardians. Local police also claim that the motive has been identified seeing the circumstances of the situation between the Guardians and the Royals. They claim that this attack is simply retaliation for the recent homicide of a Guardian, Mario Gizur, in a series of assaults.
