Macbeth was a knowledgeable and ruthless traitor. He led the people to believe he was a good man, which can be true in certain cases. His morals started to change when he was given the three prophecies from the weird sisters about future empowerment. Macbeth soon became hungry for attention and power as he eventually led to brutally dethroning King Duncan, and soon after, taking his place. “Thunder and lightening, enter three witches.” The first scene, commences among the three witches arranging to meet Macbeth “ upon the heath.” Macbeth and Banquo stumble across the three witches, after King Duncan had just been notified of their victory over two separate invading armies, Ireland, and Norway. During their encounter a midst the three weird sisters, they suggest that Macbeth will soon possess new titles of empowerment, Thane of Cawdor, and soon to follow, King. In addition to his supposed new titles, Macbeth’s companion, Banquo, was told by the three weird sisters that himself will not indulge a position of power, but will father a line of king’s. …show more content…

Macbeth to begin with, was not naturally inclined to do that of atrocious deeds, but when the witches introduced him to his supposed in coming titles, his ambition came into play. Macbeth’s first mistake was taking matters into his own hands, opposed to letting the events fall into place. Generally, when people begin to see results, whether it be a good mark on a test they spent all waking hours studying for, or possessing a talent of some sort, they become infatuated with
