MURDER AND MAYHEM Cabot Cove, Maine was made famous by one of my favorite childhood TV personalities, Jessica Beatrice MacGill ( better known as Jessica Fletcher) in the CBS inspired drama” Murder She Wrote”. Jessica is a retired teacher and mystery writer who murder seem to follow her where ever she goes. Seen by most law enforcement as being noisy and her help is not needed, she manages to prove them wrong every time by solving the crime. In Season 10, episode 2 “ for whom the ball tolls” takes place in New York, NY where Jessica is helping two friends try and keep an old apartment building from being torn down. During this episode one of the key developers, Walter Gillrich is murdered and Jessica’s friend is arrested and charged with the murder. Jessica to the rescue! Jessica starts her own investigation and starts to form her own idea of what occurred. She reveals that the murder was committed by Walter’s own Sister-in-law Lee Gillrich because she was determined for the old apartment building to be torn down and replaced with new high rise buildings. …show more content…
