San Jose State University wanted to engage the audiences with a unique perspective subject on the “The Circle,” Dave Eggers’ 2013 novel. Besides, I just wanted to talk and share some valuable thoughts about an article “The Circle” I had read not long ago. The article author’s was basically using the “The Circle” re-explain his opinions. The central argument was arguing about how we could not disconnect from reality all the way, as we use technology every day. The author’s purpose was to remind us about how we should not let every judgments or decision of ours to rely on technology. The author’s also established the article significance through using examples from the book and bringing examples from our current time such as Facebook or Snowden. The people had us go room to room and see different parts of the play. At the beginning, they had us download an app so that we could get reminders and others would tell us all to meet in a certain room, also they set the stage saying that the audiences were new employees in the company. It was especially like a video game by using smartphone app, and the audiences could a spy in the room. I basically felt that the play was conspiracy which there was hidden camera all over the place. At first, I thought they were selling, and I was pretty convincing how this was what they needed to do on the first day job. I thought “The circle” play was sending a message about secrets was lies, sharing was caring, and privacy was theft. I thought it was doing because I had learned more from what I ready know. It was interesting than the other plays I had attended. Because they let us go through different room of stages, I thought there were actors there to act. So, the audiences just sat there and watch, but they actually wanted us to experience something new like downloading the app which I did not know about what was
