According to Wikipedia, social media are primarily Internet – based tools for sharing and discussing information among human beings. Also, social media is the collection of tools and online spaces available to help individuals and businesses to accelerate their information and communication need, by Axel Schultze. So, social media is a way for people to interact with others. Nowadays, many people use social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Line, Whatsapp, etc. Sometimes, people use this social media to advertise, socialize, and keep up with what is going on. With loads of information being disseminated over the internet, social media has become the very fabric upon which our society is being built. There is always positive and negative effects about social media. Along with goods and helpful uses of social media, there are downfalls, which have cause social media to get a bad reputation with parents, co-workers, and people alike.

One study a few years ago found that Facebook use was linked to both less moment to moment happiness and less life satisfaction – the more people used Facebook in aday, the more these two variables dropped off.
