The Cracker Book Reports

The Nutcracker is a very well know magical story that was originally written in 1816 by E.T.A Hoffman, there are many versions of this story like movies, plays, books, and ballots. The story starts off with many families going to a Christmas party, Clara’s family is the family hosting the party. . All of the kids get together and their godfather Drosselmeyer gives Clara a special Nutcracker soldier, and Clara’s brother Fritz get jealous because he didn't get one and grabs it from her and breaks it. Then Clara get’s really upset and goes by the Christmas tree and falls asleep into a magical world, Clara’s godfather the one who gave her the Nutcracker fixes it and places it with her as she is sleeping. Clara’s dream begins and she is walking down

Then the Nutcracker becomes real and he takes Clara to dance that is the plot of most of the Nutcrackers books. The protagonists of the book’s are Clara, the Godfather, and the Nutcracker. The antagonists of the story are Fritz and Clara’s family members. The setting of the story is Christmas Eve, Clara’s house, and the land of sweets. The Rising action starts when Clara’s Godfather gives her the Nutcracker, then Fritz breaks the Nutcracker, Then Clara falls asleep, then she has a dream that her Nutcracker is fighting the Nutcracker. The the Climax is when the Nutcracker is pinned up against the Tree by the mouse and Clara throws her slipper at the mouse king then the Nutcracker turns into a boy and brings Clara to the land of sweets and dances with her. and the resolution is Clara wakes up from her dream and finds herself in her bed. Also, I believe the overall theme of the story is Christmas
