All things considered, the character of an individual can be altered based off a certain circumstance just as Antigone’s and Medea’s character was. Whether it was unjustly being thrown in jail or enduring an unfaithful relationship everyone has their limits. Whether an action is immoral should not be the main focus of defining it as heroic because that could be argued in past “heroic” actions of male figures in Greek tragedies.
