The truthfulness of this statement has been verified on multiple accounts throughout history, but what consequences occur by telling everyday white lies? Fibbing on a regular basis can drastically decrease mortality, destroy budding relationships, and cause an overwhelming amount of stress.
Everyone has lied during some part of their life simply because of human nature. However, the effect on an individual's ethics can lead to the creation of a disgraceful, immoral being. Grace and respect, two of the most important principles of morals, constantly change due to the influence of everyday actions. Lying corrupts the gracefulness and respectfulness of individuals, and it causes them to make very rash decisions and actions. The morality of an individual influences a majority of their decisions, so when an individual is immoral their decisions become very indignant. Whether of religious mind or not, morals remain the basis of civilized dealings. Henceforth, lying can turn great societal contributors into modern savages and ultimately corrupt the world.
