Tybalts downfall The outcome and downfall of Tybalt. How did he lead himself to his demise? Tybalt, Tybalt played a big part in the story, he was very protective of his family and had an aggressive attitude. The downfall of Tybalt is believed to be his fault. Tybalt is very protective of his family the capulets. The capulets once threw a party, and Romeo came, leading Tybalt to say “It fits when such a villain is a guest./ I’ll not endure him.” (1,5,75-76) Tybalt said this because he did not want Romeo to be around his family. Tybalt was so protective of his family that Capulet had to tell him not to start anything. Tybalt then said “patience perforce with willful choler meeting/ makes my flesh tremble in their different greeting./ I will withdraw.” Tybalt was ready to kick Romeo out himself until the capulet stopped him. Tybalt shows this when he says “now by the stock and honor of my kin,/ To strike him dead I hold it not a sin” (1,5, 58-59) Tybalt had no care for others' lives if they got in his way, or made him angry. Tybalt then again shows his attitude “ uncle this is a Montague, our foe,/ A villain…” (1,5,61-62) Tybalt thinks of every Montague as a villain, and shows that he wants none of them left.
