At a very young age, people learned that language is a representation of their thoughts. Language opens the doors to communication and helps to establish relationships with one-another. There are however, individuals who have developed their linguistic skills to the point that they have the ability to write, to talk fluently and to utilize a broad vocabulary to express the precise meaning of what they wish to convey. Later on in life, we all learned that is not possible to express our thoughts with the help of language without the proper consideration of the thoughts. This is called judgment or thinking. Thisstandards are develop by intelligence professionals from the many years of their experience. The eighth edition of the Style Manual and Writers Guide for Intelligence Publications provides guidance for English usage and writing style in the Central Intelligence Agency. Good thinking and being organized results in good writing. Good writing results in good intelligence, because analysts can be the smarter people, but if they don’t have effective writing communications skills, the information produced can be misunderstood or worthless. It is very important that intelligence analysts have developed critical thinking skills. They must be able to prioritize the information, understand the issues, make their judgments based on evidence rather than personal preference; recognize their limitations and know the audience they write
